You really shouldn't have to think about tech. You've got enough on your plate. Clients to manage, work to make, a business to run. I handle the systems, the hosting, the backups, and breakdowns. When something goes wrong, you call. Whenever nothing goes wrong at all, it is because I've made sure of it quietly.

Why me? Simple. I'm honest and transparent with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College and an Honours Diploma in Sales and Marketing from Westervelt College. Along the way, I've represented Apple, Amazon, Google, HP, and Epson as a brand ambassador and merchandiser, and spent nearly a decade within telecom before turning full-time to the web. The result is a studio where the person quoting the work, designing the brand, writing the code, and answering the phone is typically the same person - me. I've now been doing this full time for almost 10 years.
Work is quoted in plain language with honest scope. You own your code once paid for and always own your domains, and your data. No retainers unless you would like one.
Outside the studio, I'm a former Rotarian and also attend Freedom Centre Church where my wife and I help run a Food Bank depot - which shapes how I think about the nonprofits, faith communities, and small businesses I help support everyday.
You own every credential, every file, every line of code I write for you. If you host with me, you get full access to the hosting account, not a locked-down reseller panel. If we ever part ways, you walk away with a working site and a full handoff. No lock-in.
I've turned down projects that weren't a fit and I'll tell you honestly if your idea doesn't need a new website. Every build starts with what the business actually needs to do, then the design serves that. Clients stay on because the work keeps earning its place.
You get a fixed quote, a plain-language scope, and no surprises on the invoice. If the work grows, we talk about it first. No retainers unless you would like one.
Through the Charter Charity Program, every month I build a complete logo and website at no cost for a qualifying nonprofit, church, or mission driven organization, a $2,500 value given away because the work matters.
Every website I build, free or otherwise, can stay licensed, hosted, and maintained through this simple partnership. No long term contract.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris while building the Drop Force website, and I can confidently say he was a huge asset to the process. Chris is clear, responsive, and genuinely cares about getting things right — not just making something look good, but making sure it actually works for the business. He took the time to understand my vision, offered smart suggestions, and executed quickly without cutting corners.
If you're looking for a website designer who's reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris.
I have benefited greatly from Chris Gilbert's knowledge and technical skills regarding website hosting, setting up an email server and his knowledge of WordPress. He has been understanding, flexible and generally great to work with. His knowledge of the industry is excellent, and he's well connected regarding options for add-on services. One of the things that I like most about working with Chris is that he has been very responsive when I have needed technical help.
If you are looking for somebody to develop or host a website with, consider working with Chris. I have no regrets regarding having chosen to work with his company on my projects.
Chris has been an incredible support as I've been setting up my business. He has helped me with all things tech-related and has consistently gone above and beyond to make the process smoother and less overwhelming. He is kind, caring, intelligent, and extremely helpful, with a genuine desire to see others succeed.
I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for reliable technical support, thoughtful guidance, and someone who truly cares about helping businesses grow.
Working with Chris is like putting on a brand-new pair of socks — you just feel it. He's been my go-to website guy for over 7 years, and this latest redesign gave the site a fresh look, cleaner flow, and a better reflection of where Your Story To Glory is today.
Thanks again, Chris. I appreciate you, brother.
Operation Christmas RGV had grown from a grassroots effort into a year-round nonprofit serving thousands of families across the Rio Grande Valley: holiday assistance, Thanksgiving meals, school-supply drives, health and job fairs. But their programs, events, and story lived scattered across social media, with no single place for families to find support or for the community to get involved.
Built through the Free Nonprofit Website Program at no cost to the organization. A bilingual site in English and Spanish, with a clear path for every visitor: find support, join an event, donate, or volunteer, plus an events calendar, leadership pages, and simple forms the board can manage themselves.
Operation Christmas RGV now has one home for its mission online: event registration, donation drives like their 1,000-toy Christmas Toy Drive, and their story, all in one place, in the language each visitor needs.
Alberta's provincial heritage society needed a clear picture of where its site actually stood before changing anything: years of pages built up without a plan, a color palette that no longer matched the brand, and a membership structure the site wasn't representing well, all heading into a board meeting where results would need to be reported.
A comprehensive 52-finding site audit, covering everything from the aging cyan color palette to the membership structure. The findings were organized into a scoped follow-on plan, a sitewide color refresh from cyan to burgundy, a membership tier reflow, council-facing PDF reports, and a Website Owner's Manual, ready for the Society to act on when the board approves it.
The Society walked into its May 2026 board meeting with a documented audit trail and a clear, prioritized roadmap for the site's next phase, covering the color palette, the membership structure, and the reporting the board needed. Our engagement concluded with the audit, and that roadmap remains theirs to pick up whenever they're ready to move forward with it.
Separating couples researching mediation in Calgary had no way to understand what the process would cost them before picking up the phone, and Clear Path had no way to sell its service packages or recover the visitors who started checkout and left without a way to follow up automatically.
A custom-built WordPress plugin, clearpath-calculator, that walks a visitor through their situation and returns a real fee estimate on the spot, paired with a full WooCommerce shop for purchasing mediation packages, AutomateWoo flows to bring abandoned carts back, and a client services agreement built directly into checkout. A dedicated WPCode snippet library ties the calculator, shop, and site logic together behind the scenes.
The calculator gives every visitor a self-serve answer to the question they came with, turning a cost conversation that used to start with a phone call into something the site handles on its own, while the shop and cart-recovery flows keep package sales moving without Clear Path lifting a finger.
