Discovery CallI had the pleasure of working with Chris while building the Drop Force website, and I can confidently say he was a huge asset to the process. Chris is clear, responsive, and genuinely cares about getting things right — not just making something look good, but making sure it actually works for the business. He took the time to understand my vision, offered smart suggestions, and executed quickly without cutting corners.
If you're looking for a website designer who's reliable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris.
I have benefited greatly from Chris Gilbert's knowledge and technical skills regarding website hosting, setting up an email server and his knowledge of WordPress. He has been understanding, flexible and generally great to work with. His knowledge of the industry is excellent, and he's well connected regarding options for add-on services. One of the things that I like most about working with Chris is that he has been very responsive when I have needed technical help.
If you are looking for somebody to develop or host a website with, consider working with Chris. I have no regrets regarding having chosen to work with his company on my projects.
Chris has been an incredible support as I've been setting up my business. He has helped me with all things tech-related and has consistently gone above and beyond to make the process smoother and less overwhelming. He is kind, caring, intelligent, and extremely helpful, with a genuine desire to see others succeed.
I highly recommend Chris to anyone looking for reliable technical support, thoughtful guidance, and someone who truly cares about helping businesses grow.
Working with Chris is like putting on a brand-new pair of socks — you just feel it. He's been my go-to website guy for over 7 years, and this latest redesign gave the site a fresh look, cleaner flow, and a better reflection of where Your Story To Glory is today.
Thanks again, Chris. I appreciate you, brother.
A short discovery call to talk through where your organization is and where you want it to go. No pressure, no pitch.
Every website I build, including Charter Charity sites, can stay licensed, hosted, and maintained through this simple partnership, starting at $97/mo. No long term contract.
Before anyone calls, visits, or donates, they read your Google reviews. I help small businesses, churches, and nonprofits take care of that first impression: monitoring new reviews, writing thoughtful replies in your voice, and handling the negative ones calmly and professionally so one bad review doesn’t become the whole story.
Reputation work goes beyond replying. I set up a simple way for your happy customers and regulars to leave reviews, submit removal requests for reviews that break Google’s policies (fake, spam, or off topic), and put together a review playbook with a short staff training session so your team knows exactly what to say and do. I’ll always be honest about what can and can’t be removed, and I’ll never overpromise.
Reputation management is its own service, separate from the hosting partnerships. Start with a one time Review Starter for $295, or have it fully handled with ongoing Reputation Management at $375/mo., so you can focus on the people you serve.

I’m an Approved Moxie Implementer, trained and vetted by Moxie itself to set up, configure, and support Moxie CRM for small businesses and nonprofits. It’s the CRM I recommend to my own clients and build on for my Managed Hosting partners, not a platform I just dabble in. I also have experience working with all other CRM platforms.
Every Managed Hosting partnership includes Moxie CRM setup and training at no extra cost, with an extended 30 day trial so you can see if it fits before committing to anything. Monthly Plus partners get ongoing, hands-on Moxie management built right into the partnership, so your pipeline, invoicing, and client communication stay organized without you having to become a Moxie expert yourself.

Tell me where things stand and you’ll get a clear, written scope before any work begins.
You own every credential, every file, every line of code I write for you. If you host with me, you get full access to the hosting account, not a locked-down reseller panel. If we ever part ways, you walk away with a working site and a full handoff. No lock-in.
I've turned down projects that weren't a fit and I'll tell you honestly if your idea doesn't need a new website. Every build starts with what the business actually needs to do, then the design serves that. Clients stay on because the work keeps earning its place.
You get a fixed quote, a plain-language scope, and no surprises on the invoice. If the work grows, we talk about it first. No retainers unless you would like one.

The Rotary Four-Way Test
- Is it the truth?
- Is it fair to all concerned?
- Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
- Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Why me? Simple. I'm honest and transparent with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design from Fanshawe College and an Honours Diploma in Sales and Marketing from Westervelt College. Along the way, I've represented Apple, Amazon, Google, HP, and Epson as a brand ambassador and merchandiser, and spent nearly a decade within telecom before turning full-time to the web. The result is a studio where the person quoting the work, designing the brand, writing the code, and answering the phone is typically the same person: me. I've done this full time for almost 10 years, and today I look after a smaller group of clients.
Outside of client work, I’ve spent ten years with Rotary, serving in clubs in Red Deer East, Nisku-Leduc and Sherwood Park. Much of that time went into club administration, communications and meeting technology, which mostly meant keeping things organized so that members could attend in-person and remotely.
My wife and I attend Freedom Centre Church, where we’ve helped run a Food Bank depot in northeast Edmonton for almost two years. Each week we see what it takes to serve people well: volunteers who show up, systems that don’t get in the way, and clear communication so volunteers and families know where to go.
That work shapes how I approach the nonprofits, faith communities and small businesses I support. I understand the limited time, tight budgets and big hearts behind these organizations, and I build websites and tools that make work easier.
Through the Charter Charity Program, every month I build a complete logo and website at no cost for a qualifying nonprofit, church, or mission driven organization, a $2,500 value given away because the work matters. This fall, that means three nonprofits, with the design and build completely free. After launch, each site stays hosted and maintained on the Basic partnership at $48.50/mo, half the regular $97.

I’m seeking board and advisory seats with Alberta nonprofits, charities, and faith-based organizations. After years of running my own studio full time, I now have the calendar to serve properly, not just attend. I’ve also spent ten years with Rotary, serving with the Rotary Club of Red Deer East, Nisku-Leduc Rotary, and Sherwood Park Rotary. What I bring to a board table: digital governance and website/data risk, marketing and communications oversight, and the operating experience of someone who has run a service business end to end, including quoting, delivery, finance, and operations. I’ve served nonprofits, churches, and heritage organizations as a vendor.
A running log of what's moving through the studio. Updated by hand, roughly weekly. No fluff, no filler.
Honest scope, in writing. Plain-language strategy. Code you actually own.
